Whew! The jet lag is setting in but we aren't going to let that hold up one of our favorite blog posts of the year! The ScrapScription CHA TOP TEN PICKS! We'll tackle this Top Ten in two parts - as there is just so much to talk about here! It really was a fantastic show and we found ourselves having to choose between many different lines for a particular theme instead of having to build themes around what was available.
Here are our favorite CHA finds (in no particular order) --
1. PINK PAISLEE - QUEEN BEE COLLECTION
This was our second stop on Day 1 and the booth was buzzing with activity! The booth displays were top notch and just sucked you in! Lots of yummy eye candy to be seen here. We had to wait to even get in front of the product displays to decide which pieces to include in our order. But I'm already giving away too much info! Let's just say - we loved it all! ;) But not only did the paper and embellishments make us stand there glarry-eyed but we also fell in love with the new Artisan Albums! How could we resist? That's what we're all about right?! - cool, unique mini albums!
2. BASIC GREY - MAX & WHISKERS
Finally! A pet line that spoke to us! Done in true Basic Grey fashion - this pet line is edgy and modern. The warm rusts and hip turquoise make for an awesome color combo for a mini pet album. We loved that with the switch of just a couple patterned papers - this album could be for dog lovers or cat lovers alike!
3. BELLA BLVD. - MAN OF THE HOUSE and ESTATE SALE
Lots of fun stuff coming your way using two of Bella Blvd.'s brand new lines - Man of the House and Estate Sale! We will be partnering with Bella Blvd. to celebrate an entire month of Bella! So be on the lookout for more info to come! In the meantime, we just loved the patterns of both of these lines as well as the color combos. And the new Alpha & Bits combination alphas and stickers and the Blurbs journaling stickers are perfect for our mini albums!
4. PUNKY SPROUTS - NEW MIXED MEDIA ALBUMS
On our way to the Teresa Collins booth in the new vendor section, we stumbled across an new album manufacturer called Punky Sprouts. Lori fell head over heels in love with their mixed media albums. With a cool mix of chipboard, acrylic AND CANVAS, these albums are sure to show up in a future ScrapScription kit! We love a good find!
5. MAKE ROOM FOR BABY - MY MIND'S EYE JACK & JILL COLLECTION
We searched and searched for the right "baby" line. It was hard to find something as cute and versatile as the last baby line we used from Little Yellow Bicycle. But then Candy started thinking outside of the box and that's when we found the gorgeous Jack & Jill collection from My Mind's Eye. Their papers are done in such vivid yet warm tones and the texture is just incredible. We quickly realized that this would make for a gorgeous baby album - boy or girl!
So there you have it - the first five of our top ten list. There's still lots to share so make sure to check back later this week for more pictures and favorites!
Now - back to trying to reset ourselves to Eastern Standard time!
