SCRAPSCHOOL 2009 IS IN THE HISTORY BOOKS

We are proud to congratulate the graduating class of ScrapSchool 2009! 

After a jam packed curriculum of four advanced classes over just 2 days we awarded diplomas to our first ever graduating class! 

THANK YOU to everyone that joined us on this journey for the first ever ScrapSchool.  We came just shy of our goal to have 12 students for the first year between on-campus and distant learning students and we are excited to continue to build upon what we learned this year to make next year an even bigger and better event. 

The accommodations at the Hampton Inn at Easton proved to be a perfect place to hold our event and we all enjoyed our stays there during the weekend.  There was plenty of good dining, shopping and more shopping in between our classes and on campus students reaped the benefits of some great scrapbook store coupons. 

Candy and I would like to thank each and every one of you that have supported our first ever venture into holding an event of this magnitude.  The positive feedback and words of encouragement have meant so much to us.  We really strive to bring you the best projects - the kind that we ourselves would be excited to do. 

And again, where would we be without out sponsors???  A huge THANK YOU again to B&B Scrapbooks, Scrapbook Art, Pizzaz It, Scrapbook Groupies, Archiver's, Jenni Bowlin, Fancy Pants and Upsy Daisy!

All in Our Places . . . .

with bright shiny faces . . . Well tomorrow is the first day of "school" and hopefully this year's ScrapSchool students are eagerly awaiting the first bell to "ring".  After months of planning, it is time for ScrapSchool to finally begin in the morning!  We can't believe that school will be in session tomorrow.

We just finished setting up the classroom and thought we would share some of a couple of photos with you.

 

To all our "distance learning" students, we are going to miss you in the morning!  Now it's off to bed and a good nights rest.  More updates coming soon . . .

COUNTDOWN TO SCRAPSCHOOL!

We are just SIX days away from our first day of ScrapSchool!  We will be welcoming our first ever student body bright and early Saturday morning and will get right down to work with 3 awesome classes on Saturday, 1 on Sunday and tons of giveaways, goodies and prizes! 

Many of our local stores are participating in our ScrapSchool coupon page where students will be able to save 20-33% off purchases made during the ScrapSchool weekend.  Stores including B&B Scrapbooks, Scrapbook Art, Pizzaz It, Scrapbook Groupies and Archiver's.

Time to celebrate everything HALLOWEEN!  Our first kit for October features a spooky but playful theme using Bo Bunny's brand new Boo Crew product line.  The cute little spooky characters, spiders and ghosts are perfect for showcasing all of your favorite Halloween photos.  The base of this album is the black chipboard Edgy album also from Bo Bunny.  Each page has a slightly different, fun, unique "edge" to it which adds to the playfulness of this album.  You are going to LOVE the adorable embellishments in this kit especially the iCandy jewels and googlie eyes.

Many of you may remember this product line being one of our "favorite sneak peeks" before we left for CHA this past July.  So we are super excited to finally be bringing you the finished product! 

This album will also be featured at our class at the end of the month at B&B Scrapbooks.
