Tutorial: Accordian Fold Rosettes

I love the look of accordion fold rosettes, but they look so complicated!  Here is a quick and easy tutorial on how to make these fabulous rosettes.

 

Step 1: Cut 12” paper strips in varying widths between ¾” and 1 ¼” wide.

Step 2: Score entire length of paper strip every 3/8” or ¼”.  Fold on score lines

 

Step 3: Using a hot glue gun, glue end of paper strip together to make a ring.  Punch a 1 ½” circle from scrap cardstock.  Apply glue to punch. 

 

 

Step 4: Push center of ring down into hot glue and hold in place until set.
