It is so hard to believe that less than one short month ago we were once again making our way around the show floor in Anaheim for the CHA Winter 2012 trade show. We love attending this show in California each year for a number of reasons including the fact that our husbands make the trip out to California with us and even though this was not the case this year, it is great to get out of the cold Ohio winter, if only for a few days. Add those two reasons to all of the fantastic new products we get to examine and enjoy, you have the perfect recipe of a quick 4 day trip to warm and sunny California!
So without further adieu . . . we know the anticipation has been unbearable . . . here is our CHA WINTER 2012 TOP TEN LIST. Remember - these are in no particular preference order and while we’d love to bring you every single new product introduced at this year’s show, our Top Ten list is just a sampling of some of the products you may see in future ScrapScription kits.
1. Basic Grey – PB&J and Soar
We missed seeing the Basic Grey new product lines at last summer’s CHA show in Chicago and were over the top excited with what they came out with at this show. While we loved all that they released this January, we really really loved the new PB&J and Soar lines!
2. Bella Blvd. – flags, alphas, and buttons
Once again Bella Blvd did not disappoint but at this show it wasn’t just the four new paper lines that they came out with including a pregnancy line, but we could see the endless possibilities in their new embellishment and sticker lines. You will definitely be seeing these in future ScrapScription kits!
3. Crate Paper – Storyteller
From the colorful primary color palette used throughout this line to the play on words found on the chipboard pieces, the new Storyteller line from Crate Paper was a perfect choice for a future ScrapScription mini album kit!
4. Jillibean Soup – Coconut Lime Soup and new epoxy buttons
What would a top ten list from CHA be without a Jillibean Soup product? Well fortunately you won’t have to find out any time soon because the Coconut Lime Soup line from Jillibean Soup blew us away! From the colors found in Coconut Lime to the delightful graphics on the patterned papers to the new coordinating epoxy buttons are perfect ways to celebrate summertime fun!
5. My Mind’s Eye – Miss Caroline
One of the items on our shopping list this show was to find papers and embellishments to use in a mother/sister themed mini album. Wow, did the Miss Caroline line from My Mind’s Eye fit that bill to a “T”. The red, pinks, and yellows in this line are absolutely perfect to help us celebrate Mother’s Day!
So there you have it! The first 5 from our TOP TEN FAVORITES! Leave us a comment below and let us know which item you like the best and why. On February 29th we'll pull one winner from all the comments left to win a cool CHA Winter 2012 prize pack! Whoo hoo!!!!
Be on the lookout for Part 2 of our Top Ten list coming March 1st!

As always, my fav is the Jillibean Soup Coconut Lime Soup- can't wait to get some! The Bella Blvd. flag embellishments look like a lot of fun! Can't wait to see Part 2!

Pretty hard to choose just one of your top 5 but if I have to I'd say that the Doodlebug collections are not available anywhere near me so I'd love to see them up close and personal!

Since I mainly scrapbook my 4 granddaughters my favorite would be the Miss Caroline line from My Mind’s Eye. It will be great to see some nice and fresh girly paper, colors, and embellishments to use on my pages. The Coconut Lime Soup line from Jillibean Soup looks adorable also.

As a HUGE fan of ScrapScription, I have loved all of your designs. I really love Jillibean Soup; I haven't seen a line of theirs that I didn't like. Unfortunately, with Michigan's economy, I lost my job in November, and my husband lost his job in December. Obviously, I had to cancel my monthly kits, and I miss them greatly!! You ladies ROCK. You really made great selections at CHA. Loved them all... miss you:(

I love the bella blvd flags! I am a new scrap scriber and am so in love with all the creative ideas of how to utilise things like the flag pins in the albums! It's such a blessing recieving my mini album in the mail each month. I know it seems kind of silly but it's the one thing that de stresses me from my long day! I look forward to seeing the next 5 faves! Thanks for all you gals do!
