Oh my, whose heart doesn’t go pitter patter when they see a funky new alphabet font? I just love how alphabets come in all different shapes, sizes and colors. You can get wooden, acrylic, metal, vinyl, fabric…the list goes on and on. These puppies tend to multiply fast and can sometime create a storage challenge, especially if you haul them along to crops. I even got a Cricut with the intention of cutting my own letters so I didn’t have to store so many, but alas, I still do not cut alphas. {sigh}
I like to store my alphabets in a linen lined wicker basket I got at Hobby Lobby. They are organized by color except for Tiny Types, which I store in the front. I don’t know why I store them in the front, I just like them there where I can see them and they won’t get lost.
When I go to a crop, I usually just take a couple packets I think I may need. I organize for crops pretty well and like to travel light. However, when I go away for a weekend retreat, I just take the whole basket with me.
How do you store alphabets? Do you sort them by color? Are you a “Thou shall not comingle Thickers with other alphabets” person? Your goal this week is to organize your alphabets in manner that is convenient for you. Lets us know what you do!

Good idea thanks for the tip. I would be interested in knowing how you organize for a crop.

I toss them in a basket. Then I forget what I have and go out and buy some more.
You know what they say about "He with has the most toys....". LOL
